Highbrowed Me is:

A collection of posts representing thoughts and ideas of a brown woman in higher education. She is highbrowed, intellectual, scholarly, cultured, bookish, snobbish, and sometimes even pretentious. And why the heck not be highbrowed. All her colleagues are!

She yearns to consolidate her double conscience existence as a brown woman in the American academy, she must! To do that, she will lay aside her academic training in organized, objective, mostly appeasing writing. Time to bury the bullshit and seek the sweet smell of the truth.

The blog is organized into categories! So much for laying aside the academic approach! Categories notwithstanding, she promises to do better.
